Pamela Downey M. Ed. RCC, from Family Services EAP will be available on Haida Gwaii on the fourth Thursday, Friday and/ or Saturday of every month. During intervening weeks she will provide internet and telephone counselling. Her next visit is scheduled for November 26 and 27. Employees are still offered the choice of counselling by a local counsellor or telephone counselling with other members of FSEAP.

The Board of Education of School District No. 50 invites all parents/caregivers to a meeting to be held at Sk'aadgaa Naay Elementary School on Thursday, November 12th at 7:00 PM to discuss the future of the French Immersion program. This meeting will cover informational items as well as allow for input on policy development and the general direction of Immersion programming in School District 50.
